Home for the Holidays

All my children are home for the holidays -- Thank goodness -- I know that they eventually have to grow up and leave the nest -- but I still miss them while they are gone... It gives me great pleasure to watch them grow into good and thoughtful adults who are happy.... that's my true measure as a parent...

This past weekend - my Uncle Ray from Ohio was out to NJ for his High School Reunion. He had a great time catching up with old friends and family. I'm so glad he spent some time with us. We don't get to see him often.

Louis Bay Art/Craft Show - 9/13

US Open

OK so - Rafael didn't make it to the finals, but he is still the best. I am a BIG fan of Rafa!!!Congrats to Roger Federer, he is the number one to beat. That final match was an easy win for Roger, he didn't break a sweat until the 3rd set!!!!

Our little Friend

This groundhog animal ?? got himself stuck under our car between the engine and it took us about 4 hours to get it out. Finally we got the hose (duh) and squirted it, so it started to come out.... he was pretty scared....

Jersey Shore Vacation

Also found lots of sea glass............may make some jewelry out of some.. we shall see...

Spent a week at the Jersey Shore -- Water was a little cool, but nice anyway. Played lots of tennis, went kayaking every afternoon, and most of all had lots of sun!!! It is great to spend time lounging with family....

Shannon graduated from the Harid Conservatory, Florida. We are sooo proud of her accomplishments and we are glad that she will be with us in Jersey!!!
